Ulfit Body Contouring is a non-invasive HIFU treatment designed to contour the body by reducing fat and tightening the skin. The treatment combines fat reduction with skin tightening technology to target and eliminate fat cells, while improving skin texture and tone. The process also stimulates natural collagen production, which enhances skin elasticity and continues to improve over time.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

This treatment uses Macro Focused Circular Ultrasound (MFCU) to deliver precise ultrasound energy deep into the subcutaneous fat layers, permanently reducing fat cells in the targeted area.

The process is achieved through localised destruction of the fat without damaging the skin or surrounding tissues. The targeted tissue is heated between 60-70 degrees at specific depths to permanently destroy fat cells and stimulate a surge in natural collagen and elastin production, thus improving the integrity of the skin for a tighter appearance.

    Yes, HIFU body contouring is a safe, non-invasive procedure that is TGA/FDA-cleared for body contouring and skin tightening. It does not require surgery, and there is minimal risk of complications when performed by a trained professional.

    Does HIFU body contouring hurt?
    HIFU is generally well-tolerated, but you may experience some discomfort during the procedure. Patients often feel a warm or tingling sensation as the ultrasound energy is delivered to the targeted areas. This discomfort is usually mild and temporary, and numbing cream can be applied to reduce it.

    When will I see results from HIFU body contouring?
    Results from HIFU body contouring are gradual and will become more noticeable over the course of 2-3 months. The collagen production stimulated by HIFU continues for several months, meaning the full effect may take up to 6 months to achieve. You may see an improvement in skin tightness and contouring over time.

Over time, the body will continue to age, and collagen production naturally slows. To maintain results, clients may opt for periodic maintenance treatments every 6-12 months as needed.

    Is there any downtime after treatment?
    No, there is no downtime after HIFU body contouring. Most patients are able to return to their normal activities immediately. Some may experience mild redness, swelling, or tenderness in the treated areas, but these side effects typically resolve within a few hours to a few days.

    • Flushed or Red Skin (Erythema): Temporary redness caused by heat stimulation, which typically subsides shortly after treatment.

    • Mild Side Effects: You may experience slight puffiness, tenderness, bruising, or skin texture changes in the treated area. These effects are usually mild and temporary, resolving within a few days.

    • Wear relaxed, loose fitted clothing for increased comfort.

    • Allow yourself plenty of time to get to the studio to avoid any unnecessary stresses. 

    • We strongly recommend eating a light meal prior to your appointment and abstaining from caffeinated drinks for a minimum of 2 hours before and after a treatment. 

    • Make a conscious effort to start drinking a minimum of 2 litres of water a day - especially post treatment. This is an important habit to form as it supports the body’s response and keeps the skin hydrated. 

    • Abstain from alcohol for 24 hours before and after a treatment.
